Attention: Due to planned electrical repairs, Hunt Library will be closed from June 17-21. The building will reopen for normal hours on June 22. Sorrells Library will be open as usual on June 17-18, and closed for the Juneteenth holiday on June 19.

The Carnegie Mellon University Libraries became steward of yet another important artifact in the history of computing on September 19. The Robotics Project added the HiTech chess machine to the University Archives, moving it to Hunt Library from Newell Simon Hall.

The annual Software Engineering Institute (SEI) Research Services High Tea event featured speakers from the University Libraries and the SEI discussing ways to connect researchers on artificial intelligence across campus.

SEI Research Services High Tea will take place on Wednesday, June 8, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. EDT. This year’s event, “The Future of Artificial Intelligence Engineering,” will be held virtually via Zoom for Government.
