Connect with the Libraries' expertise, resources & technologies to support and transform your scholarly work and expand your information toolkit.

Borrow from Another Institution

If you need access to materials that CMU does not own, you may be able to request materials from other institutions using the ILLiad or E-Z Borrow Services.

Course Reserves

Instructors can work with us to make course-related items available online (eReserves) or at circulation desks for short-term use by students.

Scholarly Research

Whether you want to navigate the many options for publishing your research to optimize its accessibility and impact; identify when and where your research has been cited, as well as the scope of its reach; or uncover potential collaborators and the funding to support your project, the Libraries can support you at every stage of your research process.

Instruction Assistance

Our teaching and learning services include in-person and online support to teach critical research and information literacy skills that are directly relevant to your course. We can support your students through the development of research assignments, online modules, and supplemental online learning tools.

Research Information Management Services (RIMS)

RIMS brings together information about scholarship, creative practices, and funded research endeavors, as well as teaching, service, awards, and leadership accomplishments. This powerful suite of services can help individual faculty as well as teams, labs, centers, or institutes with various data insights. Additionally, RIMS supports numerous operational and institutional needs such as applying for federal funding, completing annual reviews, creating CV documentation, dashboards for data analysis, and finding new collaborators.
