Seeking volunteers to teach or help with a neuroimaging Carpentries pilot lesson

Carpentries logoDo you have experience with Python or fMRI and want more teaching opportunities? We are looking for volunteers to serve as helpers or co-instructors for our first neuroimaging workshop from the Carpentries Incubator this fall - no experience with the Carpentries necessary! The first day of this virtual workshop is a 2 hour lesson in Introduction to MRI Analysis. On the second day, we will cover Functional Neuroimaging Analysis in Python. If you are interested in volunteering or have questions, please contact Melanie Gainey (mgainey@andrew.cmu.edu). We are always excited to expand our Carpentries community!

Participate in the 2021 State of Open Data survey

This year’s State of Open Data survey from figshare and Springer Nature in association with Digital Science is open for responses. (Carnegie Mellon’s research repository, KiltHub, runs on the figshare platform.) Now in its 6th year, The State of Open Data is the longest-running longitudinal study of open data practices. The survey’s aim is to discover researchers’ experiences, attitudes, and challenges with sharing their research data. The survey closes July 30th, and you could win one of five $100 gift cards for participating!
