Chisom Obasih (she/her) is the Open Science Postdoctoral Research Associate at Carnegie Mellon University Libraries. In this role, Chisom conducts research on open science engagement and training to identify the needs of the research community at CMU, offers data and code support consultations and open science workshops. She holds a BS in Neuroscience and a BA in Neuroscience, both from the University of Pittsburgh, as well as an MS in Psychology and a PhD in Second Language Acquisition, both from CMU. With her interdisciplinary background, Chisom aims to promote and support open science and accessible, reproducible research through community-building services across research disciplines, including the Arts, Natural Sciences, and Social Sciences.
