The MIT Press recently announced that its Direct to Open initiative, which allows libraries to partially cover the costs associated with open access book publishing through annual participation fees, has been funded for 2022. This successful effort, which was supported by CMU Libraries, will allow the MIT Press to publish all of the titles in its 2022 scholarly monographs list as open access. Select titles will be searchable via the Libraries online catalog, and a complete list of titles is available at the MIT Press Direct platform.
