The Oakland Review has been Carnegie Mellon University’s premier literary-arts journal since 1973. Ran by a team of dedicated undergraduate students, it features works of poetry, prose, and various types of art that’s reviewed and selected by an editorial board of undergraduates. The Oakland Review has been nationally recognized by the Associated Writing Programs, placing as a finalist in an Undergraduate Journal competition.
