In early 2019, wallethub.com performed a data driven study of the best to worst cities for football fans across the United States. Of the 240 cities evaluated, Pittsburgh was ranked first in the “Best Cities for Football Fans” and third in the “Best-Performing NFL Teams” categories. Football isn’t the only sport the Steel City has to offer however. From the Steelers to the Penguins to the Pirates, the City of Champions takes pride not only in its teams and players, but in the history and skill of all sports around the world and the individuals who play them.
In this month’s book display, we honor the game, no matter what type of game it is. The display is located on the First Floor Lobby of Hunt Library and all books are loanable to the campus community.
