Vice President for Research and Provost-Designate Farnam Jahanian led the Championship judging panel. Fellow judges were Kristen Kurland, teaching professor (Architecture, Heinz) and president of the Andrew Carnegie Society; Suzie Laurich McIntyre, associate vice provost for graduate education; Dan Martin, dean of the College of Fine Arts; and David Rollinson, project scientist in the Robotics Institute and 1st place winner in the 2014 3MT@CMU Championship.
The competition was hosted by Keith Webster, dean of libraries.
