Connect to Online Resources from Off-Campus
You can connect to most databases and e-resources remotely using your Andrew ID and password, and you will be prompted automatically to log in when needed. Some materials may require use of campus VPN. See these instructions for guidance.

The Libraries offer a range of online subject-specific research guides to recommend sources and provide tips on utilizing the Libraries’ collections.
Scholarly Communications, Research Data Management, and KiltHub Repository
The Libraries offer remote consultations for scholarship sharing and data management and provide online access to related tools for researchers at all points in the research lifecycle. CMU affiliates can deposit publication manuscripts, data, and associated research materials into the KiltHub repository.

Course Instruction and Support
Instructors can add library personnel to Canvas courses and can arrange to have a librarian or subject specialist provide instructional support remotely. Contact a subject specialist directly to discuss your needs, or e-mail us with a general inquiry.
Please do not return equipment or multimedia via book-drop. Instead, wait until you can return such materials across the library’s service desk during open hours. Due dates and fines will be adjusted to accommodate.
Library users who are ill or unable to come to campus can request a waiver of due dates and fines. During library closures or reductions in business hours, due dates will be automatically extended and fines will not accrue.
Call, e-mail, or use the Ask Us chat function during business hours for on-the-spot remote assistance from library personnel or to provide feedback and suggestions on services and library operations.
