BrowZine displays recent issues of scholarly journals on your computer or mobile device for easy browsing.  It brings journal content together from multiple publishers and platforms into a single interface. You can save your favorite journals, view the tables of contents, annotate (coming soon) and read or save articles.

  1. Visit BrowZine Web or download the app

  2. When you open BrowZine for the first time, you'll see a list of schools—select Carnegie Mellon.
  3. Log in with your Andrew ID and password.  You should only need to do this once.
  4. Select subject areas and start browsing.

BrowZine is available for all versions of Apple devices (iOS v7.x+), Android tablets and phones (Android v4.1+), including the Google Nexus 7 or 10 and the Samsung Galaxy Tab, and the Kindle Fire and Kindle Fire HD. 

There is currently no support for Windows tablets.

Yes! BrowZine Web is now available to browse on your computer.

There are a number of iPads available to borrow from the Libraries, all of which have the BrowZine app.

Currently, you can export articles to Zotero or Mendeley.

As a new service, BrowZine started with a small set of publishers, and is adding more on a regular basis. To get notified about new additions, check their website or sign up for their newsletter.
