Accomplished information professional with extensive experience researching, analyzing, and presenting information effectively. I was recently appointed to the Carnegie Mellon University Libraries faculty as a research liaison in the fields of cybersecurity and computer science after completing a M.S. in Information Science from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. Previously, I served for over 20 years in the US government and military in a variety of roles, including intelligence analyst, leader, and instructor. In addition to my liaison responsibilities, I am investigating the nexus between information science and cybersecurity to improve the discovery, retrieval, storage, and dissemination of cybersecurity research. I also hold an M.A. in National Security Studies from Georgetown University and a B.A. in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia.
