Announcing Trial of Footage Access
The University Libraries has arranged trial access to a new tool (still in Beta) called Footage Access. Imagine what you can do with footage that is typically available only to those in the film industry.
Unprecedented Access
Footage Access provides University students teachers and staff with access to over 2 million records and 30 archives, making Footage Access the largest educational resource and collection of historical, entertainment and informational video and audio content in the world
Limit-Free Educational Use
After creating an account, you are provided with rights to use any of the content found on Footage Access for educational purposes. This includes projects, presentations, and, of course, research.
How to Access
Point your URL to: http://cmu.footageaccess.com
Go directly to the sign-in page and enter your individual user name and password. An authentication code will be sent directly to your email. Once the account has been authenticated, the user name and password will be good until May 15.
